Whale Dune Observation Platform (Whale Back Sand Dune)

    The radial steel structure on the Whale Dune points to the ocean to symbolize the back of the whale in the sea and the sand dunes where the people of Shihsanhang lived at that time.

The stairs at the left entrance lead to a platform paved with iron and wood overlooking Sunshine Plaza, the Port of Taipei, Tamsui River estuary, and the Fisherman’s Wharf as well as the sunset on the opposite bank. 



鯨背沙丘



鯨背沙丘上指向海洋的放射狀鋼構建築，象徵海中的鯨背與十三行人當時生存的沙丘。

由左邊入口的樓梯通往由鐵木所鋪成的平台，眺望陽光廣場、臺北港、淡水河口，以及對岸的漁人碼頭和落日夕陽。
