    By analyzing the composition of the ironware, we can deduce that the people of Shihsanhang made iron through the direct smelting process. The furnace had to be destroyed to retrieve the heated iron. As a result, only one furnace and a lot of parts of furnaces and slag have been unearthed



    A variety of iron tools have been unearthed, including production tools, everyday objects and weapons, while the types of stone tools are comparatively limited. This reflects the changes in the materials and types of tools selected by the people of Shihsanhang.

藉由分析鐵器的成分，推知十三行人使用直接煉鐵法煉鐵。加熱後的鐵需要毀爐取出，因此僅出土一座煉鐵爐與許多爐體、鐵渣。出土的鐵器形式多樣，包含生產工具、日常用品及武器，石器的種類則相對減少，反映十三行人在選擇工具上的材料及種類上的變革。
