Thatched Shed

Walking into the village area is like being in Shihsanhang settlement, where most of the food was sourced from the surroundings. In addition to collecting shellfish, fishing and hunting, people also raised chickens and pigs. Moreover, they employed simple farmingtechniques to grow upland rice and taro near their homes. They made small stoves with stones or pottery to cook food. It is also worth mentioning that Shihsanhang people had extremely high level pottery-making skills and excelled at making various types of pottery.

走進部落區猶如身處十三行人的聚落，十三行人的食物多從鄰近環境中取得，除外出採食貝類和漁獵之外，也會畜養雞和豬。此外，十三行人擁有簡單的農耕技術，會在家屋附近種植旱稻和芋頭，並以石頭或陶器做成支腳，架成小灶烹煮食物。值得一提的是，十三行人擁有精湛的製陶技術，善於製作各種型式的陶器。
