On the Bridge
Looking at Guanyin Mountain in the distance, you can imagine the people of Shihsanhang hunting at the foot of the mountain. They lived on hunting in the mountain forest, gathering shellfish as well as catching fish.
Walking on the wooden bridge is like walking into Shihsanhang village, with the ecology of the Bali wetland represented with moving water, attracting many different wetland birds such as common moorhens and little egrets, echoing the natural and primitive environment of the Shihsanhang people.
遠眺遠方的觀音山，遙想十三行人就在山腳下打獵。十三行人依靠山林狩獵，及採集貝類、捕撈魚類為生。
走在木橋上，就像走進十三行人的部落，以活水呈現八里水岸濕地生態，更吸引紅冠水雞和小白鷺等多種溼地鳥類在此繁衍生活，呼應十三行人自然原始的生活環境。
