Space in Front of the New Taipei City Archaeology Park
Designed as an “urban cultural and historical garden,” New Taipei City Archaeological Park adopts the theme of Shihsanhang Culture. It integrates the mountain and sea landscape of Bali and an ecological design, Guanyin Mountain ecosystem, Shihsanhang Archaeological Site, Suntangpu Archaeological Site, National Dapenkeng Archaeological Site, and the surrounding areas to form a green corridor.
Walking into the archaeological park is like traveling through time and space and returning to 500 to 1800 years ago. With rich natural resources and stilt houses made from grass, bamboo and wood, the park reproduces life in the Shihsanhang settlement surrounded by mountains and river.
新北考古公園以「都市文史花園」為規劃藍圖，十三行文化為主題，融合八里山海地景與生態設計，連結觀音山生態系，串聯國定十三行考古遺址、訊塘埔考古遺址和國定大坌坑考古遺址，並與周邊綠地形成綠色廊帶。
走進考古公園就像穿越時空回到距今1800年到500年前，天然茅草、竹木打造的干欄式住屋群和豐富的生態環境，重現十三行人依山傍水的聚落生活。
